We’re excited that you want to sell your work with us! Here are some details about how consignment works:
Our consignment rates are set up 50/50, meaning sales are split evenly between you and Outlet! We issue payments to our consignment sellers quarterly.
Consignment is currently limited to local artists who print with us, with some exceptions. We’d love to include everyone in our shop but lack the space to do so!
Some part of your product must be risograph printed.
All printing is done the same way you print regularly, either remotely or in-person by appointment during our open hours! You’ll pay for your printing the same way you would normally.
You’re welcome to print as many copies as you’d like, but we take only 5-10 of each unique item. We’ll contact you when we need more! We generally limit sellers to no more than 5 unique pieces of inventory—we’re a small space with very limited storage!
Your goods can be whatever size you want as long as they’re printed on the risograph. We’re open to zines, cards, prints, postcards, buttons—just keep in mind that you’re responsible for trimming and packaging!
All participants must fill out an application so we have your information including your PayPal email. Outlet uses PayPal to pay everyone.
We have special consignment rates for BIPOC sellers and folks who are donating profits from their sales. Please let us know if any of this applies to you!
Pricing stuff is always hard. Here’s a few suggestions to get you started.
11x17 Prints: $25-$30
8.5x11 Prints: $15-$20
Greeting Cards (with envelope): $4-5
Postcards (pack of 3): $5
1” Buttons (pack of 5): $6
2.25” Buttons (pack of 3): $6
Calendars: $25-30
Notebooks: $12-$15
