We want to make our services as available and accessible as possible to our community.

We’re not a nonprofit, but we feel obligated and honored to be able to take steps to right centuries of inequity in terms of access. Printing and workshops probably aren’t going to change the world, but we hope they can bring a bit of joy and justice to our lives. That’s why we’re offering free and discounted workshops, printing, and other services via our scholarship program!

We’d love to offer these services to everyone, but we’re also trying to make ends meet with virtually no federal or state aid. Please take advantage of them if you need them—and if you don’t, we’d be super grateful if you could save them for someone who does.

Also, it’s hard to say this but—if you are a white or otherwise privileged person who’d like to support Outlet in endeavors like this, you can donate to our print fund, or buy a workshop for someone else. We take donations via Venmo (@outletpdx), and also have a section in our shop for donations. Thank you so much!

Workshop & Printing Scholarships

We set aside 1-2 free tickets to all of our workshops for BIPOC, trans, queer, and disabled folks who would otherwise be unable to attend. We’re offering tickets for both our virtual and in-person workshops!

If you’d like to get on our list for workshops you can fill out this form. We’ll let you know as soon as there’s a spot available!

Discounted Print Services

We have special rates for Black, Indigenous, and AAPI artists and creatives wanting to print with us. You can mention this when you’re filling out our remote printing quote form, or signing up for open hours and we’ll make sure to adjust our fees.

We also occasionally offer fully-covered print services for those in need. We generally reserve these services for Portland-based Black and Indigenous creatives, but are open to discussing options with you. Feel free to contact us!
