Our 2026 calendar is here!! We’ve printed these every holiday season for 6 years now and we feel lucky to have the creative folks we know and love and print with (and some new friends too!) participate. For those of you who are new here: every year we take submissions from local artists to create a vibrant 2 color risograph printed and bound calendar. The theme of the calendar this year is BRIGHTNESS!
We design this with printmakers, riso nerds, and print collectors in mind—you can trim the artwork out to keep and frame (12 beautiful prints!), and we include color combinations, special inks and papers, and other extras that can serve as a swatchbook and inspiration for any future projects! We hope it makes your year a little brighter!
This 2026 calendar started as an open call for 2-color prints under the theme BRIGHTNESS. We receive so many of incredible submissions each year (we wish we could make about 20 different calendars) but try to highlight local Portland-based creatives and to prioritize marginalized voices (specifically Black, Indigenous, POC, trans, queer, & disabled artists) as much as possible.

Calendar orders received by 12/15 will be printed and shipped with time to arrive before the holidays. We ship anywhere in the US, or you can select free local pickup—we’ll contact you when these are available! We’ll also have them at our many holiday pop-up and market events happening this year! It’s BARBARA!
Barbara is our original risograph—the one who started it all! She’s an RC6300 born in 1993, a leo, and Outlet’s official mascot! She’s mostly retired from printing now, but she still hangs out in our space and takes it easy supervising our other risograph sisters. And yes, she’s single.
Now you can take Barbara with you! In colorful sticker form—complete with a chaotic mess of stickers, paper, and added ink tube!

We handed out these 2-color prints at our 7th birthday party to anyone who purchased a raffle ticket—which you can still enter until 5/15—and we also wanted to make these prints available outside of the raffle. 100% of the funds from the sale of these prints will go to support Palestinian Portlanders’ families who are fleeing Gaza.

We at Outlet really enjoy the sweet sting of carbonation that only Diet Coke can bring. Also, it tastes best in a can. This is fan art for our dumb drink that we affectionately call Dirt Coke.
This print is 11x11 and printed in yellow, black, and red on Janet the Riso.
It’s a veritable grab bag of my test prints, random bits, quasi mess-ups, thrift store finds, and debris from past gallery installations. Each pack is filled with a STACK of STUFF (riso patterns, zine pages, prints, buttons, cards, play money?) containing items didn’t quite make it to prime time (or are perhaps past their prime) and are ready for you to reuse and enjoy! GRAB YOURSELF A SCRAP PACK!
Each pile comes in an 8.5x11 sleeve with a riso printed sticker seal. Items in each pack vary, but promise to pack a PUNCH of goodness.
This zine was printed in an edition of 100, with two different risographs, using many different colors of ink printed on a variety of paper colors at Outlet during the middle of September, 2022. This is the fourth edition of this publication. Kate and Zach had to update their bios for this edition because a lot has changed since the summer of 2016 when the first edition was made. They are still friends and they still live in Portland, Or. That has not changed.
This zine is a collaboration between Zach and Kate, two life-long friends, an illustrator and a write, in celebration of twenty of our own belongings. This is our stuff, and the stories they belong to.
