We invite you to join us at Portland’s Small Press & Art Book Fair!
Portland’s Small Press & Art Book Fair is a print-forward celebration of independent publishing, highlighting risograph books, photo zines, small edition art books, and experimental printed matter. The curated fair will center Portland-based small presses, independent artists, and PNCA's student and faculty-led publishing projects, creating an accessible and inclusive space to foster connections amongst Portland’s vibrant print and independent publishing community.
The event will host 40+ exhibitors, alongside public programming including artist talks, panels and workshops, all free of charge and open to the public.
The fair’s goal is to give artists and small presses a venue to share and sell their work while spotlighting art books and small presses— art forms often overlooked between zines and traditional publishing. With few large-scale events dedicated to art books and independent publishing in Portland, the fair will foreground risograph and small-batch print publications, while fostering connections among students, artists, professionals, and the public.
Presented by PNCA’s Center for Contemporary Art & Culture, this project fosters collaboration between PNCA and Portland’s art book and small press community. Participating exhibitors include Secret Room Press, Container Corps, Color Fantasy Press, Seltzer Press, Justseeds, Hope Amico, pocket press, Berm, NightedLife, CowpokePress, Mara Gervais, Nate Orton, Fishpond Press, IPRC, Whatnow Press, Hi Books, LURCH Magazine, Martha Naranjo Sandoval, Outlet, alongside PNCA’s own faculty, staff, and students working in print and book arts.
