Join Portland designer and illustrator Alex DeSpain for an afternoon of making wooden folk portraits.
Alex is known for his vibrant and distinctive portrait illustrations and this is a great chance to work with him one-on-one in a relaxed environment. This workshop will ask you to identify a person in your life that you would like to honor by creating a wooden profile portrait.
Materials, including pre-cut wooden canvases and paint are included in this workshop.

About Alex: Creating patterns, graphics for apparel, textile design, logos, maps, book illustrations, icons, posters, and working on ad campaigns are some of his favorite projects.
He studied graphic design at Portland State University and at The Art Institute of Dallas.
